SVH started as a hobby 15 years ago when I was experimenting with creating looks for myself that made me look different and not boring. I create art through the means of combining shapes, textures, colours using various fabrics and infusing an African narrative not only represented by tribal African prints/wax but the process to dress and show up at events as an African. I want my collection to start conversations, to express freedom, to liberate, to explore, create memories, and most importantly loving truly whiles wearing SVH. Founded in 2016 SVH is an abbreviation for my name Selasi Von Hausen.
